My husband often comments on feeling virtuous after a good run, and I quibble with him over mixing morality into it, but I do understand what he means. . . materfamiliashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16062766947897513369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904021173466473381.post-87495655742923378632014-03-12T17:03:27.926-07:002014-03-12T17:03:27.926-07:00Oh how those umbrellas lifted my spirits. Your posts on runs are always so filled with energy that you could almost tempt me as well. But I remember that I couldn't even walk 32km at the moment and my back would surely rebel. I envy you that though, the exhilaration and feeling of exhausted accomplishment.Mardelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04850551308931710502noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904021173466473381.post-57976344993917282522014-03-05T20:27:50.733-08:002014-03-05T20:27:50.733-08:00If my conversion table is right, you'll be rig...If my conversion table is right, you'll be right around us temperature-wise by the end of the week -- we expect to be somewhere between 7 and 10 Celsius, which is mid 40s to 50, I think. I know all about it. You expect physical fatigue of course but the effect on mental energy can come as a surprise. Don't worry about going to sleep before 9:00. You can never have enough sleep when you're training at this level. It was only after I stopped running temporarily due to an injury that I realized how much the high mileage had affected me. But the joy you feel crossing the finish line is worth it. See you in Boston for 2015? A 4:25 time will qualify you. btw I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to hearing about your Marathon experience.Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03303570692429514193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4904021173466473381.post-16119889251391216302014-03-05T08:47:20.284-08:002014-03-05T08:47:20.284-08:00It sounds as though you have been very active duri...It sounds as though you have been very active during the weekend! The laundry I optimistically hung out in a brief midday moment of sunshine is sodden ...
