Cuteness Brought to you by Tuesday. . . .

It is rapidly becoming apparent that Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday are going to be very short of blogging time this term. And if you read my last post, you'll have noticed that Friday-Saturday-Sunday can get chomped up quite thoroughly with family (and, very soon, with marking papers).

What to do? What to do? . . . Well, occasionally, perhaps you won't mind if I throw a cute baby picture your way and call that a post. Bonus, here, is that you also get a peek at the hat I knit my daughter*, Harriet's aunt (Auntie R is clearly a cat-lover AND a niece-lover). The occasion was dim sum as a brunch in the birthday girl's honour -- that's a very big table you're seeing a wee corner of there. . . .

If that wee red topknot doesn't make up for otherwise weak posting, I don't know what will.

But I'll be trying to think of it. . . . Happy Tuesday!

*those cat-lovers among you who are curious about the hat pattern, it's Cats in the Hat by Deborah Tomasello, and you can find it here

  6. Harriet is adorable and her red hair is stunning.
Family get togethers are much more important than a blog post!

  10. Thanks, all -- Nana here is a bit biased, but so glad you all agree on the cuteness.

  11. Oh, she is ridiculously cute. It makes me nostalgic for when Kid 2 was a tiny thing and had a topknot ... Now she's 13 with pimples :)

    1. They grow so quickly! Harriet's momma, my own little girl, used to be nostalgic herself, in her teens and early twenties, for her "cute days". . . . now she can relive them, as I can, through her little one. . . and so may you, someday yet far off. . .

I'd love to hear your response to my post. Agree, disagree, even go off on a tangent, I love to know you're out there, readers. Let's chat, shall we? I apologize, though, for the temporary necessity of the Word Verification -- spam comments have been tiresomely numerous lately, and I'm hoping to break that pattern.
