Marine Wear!

Whew! That was such a good weekend, but it was really busy. I'm running just to stay in place right now, so I'm going to offer a What I Wore post in lieu of anything more substantial.

This is a comfortable, obviously casual, outfit I wore to teach in last week. Striped navy-white sweatshirt, The Gap; red J-Brand skinny jeans; Converse sneakers; and in my own little quirky humour, a last element to complete the Marine theme -- the scarf I knit 7 years ago in Seasilk (yarn composed partly of seaweed, really! 70% silk, 30% SeaCell) in a Stormwater pattern . . . .
For now, that's all I've got, but once the week yields a rhythm I can handle, I'll try to do better. ...
Hope your week is off to a good start!

  2. Love it! It's a fun, energetic and just a little whimsical look. So very you. A seaweed scarf, how clever is that?

    1. Isn't that wild? I guess it's cellulose from the seaweed, and apparently it has some healthful properties (I know, I'm skeptical as well) -- between that and the silk, there's a hint of ocean scent. . .

I'd love to hear your response to my post. Agree, disagree, even go off on a tangent, I love to know you're out there, readers. Let's chat, shall we? I apologize, though, for the temporary necessity of the Word Verification -- spam comments have been tiresomely numerous lately, and I'm hoping to break that pattern.
